Memorial 2019

May 2019 was probably the most spontaneous trip. Caycia and I started dating mid-July 2018. She had never seen the ocean. With out a plan or reservations we took off after work for the 4 day weekend. We slept in the truck the first night near the California border west of Tonopah. Just making it up as we go we opted for the scenic drive through the Sequoia National Forest. I have seen pictures of these famous trees, but nothing compares to seeing it yourself. Morro Bay was our first ocean view stop, then Cayucos for dinner. Being a Holiday weekend and no reservations the Hotel we could find was hours away in Capitola. The next day we played on the Capitola Beach and Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. Following Hwy 1 we stopped at Shark Fin Cove just outside Davenport, then stopping at San Mateo for the night. On our way home we went over the Golden Gate Bridge. We decided we could kill more time on the way home and went to the Lovelock Caves where we seen that horrible monster. DID YOU SEE THAT THING?

Wednesday BBQ

Just a normal mid-week BBQ with the family.

Soldier Creek 2019

This was probably the most extreme hike. Caycia and I stayed 1 night. We made it as far as we could. I would definitely do this hike again if allotted more time.

Liberty Lake 2019

August 2019 we hiked up to Liberty Lake and stayed a few nights. This is my jam. It is the best way to camp out.
